As the ‘Hub’ of the Northwest, Terrace is home to great independent boutiques, shops and studios, as well as, big box stores both downtown and on the fringe of the city. Find everything from clothing, jewelry and footwear to art and souvenirs to furniture and houseware to sporting goods and fishing tackle. Walk around the historic town for an eclectic mix of culture, coffee shops, restaurants, commercial buildings and funky, unique stores. A drive along Hwy 16, the main thoroughfare through Terrace will lead you to distinct shopping areas as well.

The largest in Northern BC, the Skeena Valley Farmers Market is home to 70+ local vendors selling a diverse blend of home-crafted and home-grown goods. Find organic fruits and veggies, freshly baked bread and goodies as well as unique crafts and furniture. Food vendors offer several choices of ethnic fare including Filipino, Italian and East Indian. The market takes place every Saturday (9am – 1pm) from May to October in the heart of downtown Terrace on the west end of George Little Park.
