Juliet, Tenn. u Wilson Central High School A key member of the 2011 senior class, Travis will be a leader on-and-off the field for the Golden Eagles...has played in every game for the past three years and has helped provide a deep and talented group of players on the defensive line...could see his role increase in 2011 as the returning starter at the “Rock” position up front...sure-handed tackler and an aggressive pass rushing threat... big, quick and intelligent football player who has the potential to surface when post-season recognition is handed out...among the strongest players on the defensive side of scrimmage and getting stronger with his continued work in the weight room...has enjoyed two solid seasons as starter at defensive end...figures to be an important part of Tech’s plans along the defensive front in his final campaign...enters the year with 66 career tackles and 8.5 tacklesfor-loss. AT TECH (In 2010): Travis played in all 11 games and was the starter in nine contests...ranked third among defensive linemen with 24 total tackles, including four tackles-for-loss...broke up one pass and had two quarterback hurries...recovered a fumble and returned it 17 yards for a touchdown against Lane College...matched his career-high with five tackles twice, making five stops against both UT Martin and Eastern Illinois...had 1.5 tackles-for-loss against the EIU Panthers. (In 2009): Started all 11 games at defensive end (rock)...made 29 total tackles to rank third among defensive linemen...had five stops against both Eastern Illinois and Tennessee State...earned two turnovers in road games...recovered a fumble at Eastern Kentucky and intercepted a pass at UT Martin, returning it nine yards. Dominick BAKER u Defensive Back u 5-10 / 180 u Senior u Woodland Hills, Calif. u Pierce College One season on the sidelines as a redshirt will benefit Dominick as he returns to the field in 2011 for his final collegiate season...listed second on the depth chart at the boundary cornerback position... saw limited playing time in 2009...showed excellent instincts during his junior college career and has worked to bring those onto the field for the Golden Eagles...has increased his size and his strength during the off-season with weight room efforts...good speed...will play on kick coverage units. AT TECH (In 2010): Dominick sat out the entire 2010 season as a redshirt. (In 2009): Dominick played on coverage teams in his first season in a Golden Eagle uniform...had one tackle. JUNIOR COLLEGE: After initially enrolling at Minnesota StateMoorhead in the fall of 2007, Dominick played one season (2008) at cornerback for Pierce College in Los Angeles under coach Elfran Martinez...recorded 57 total tackles and one interception for the Brahma Bulls. HIGH SCHOOL: Dominick was a two-sport letterwinner at Birmingham High School in Los Angeles...four-year starter on the football team for coach Ed Croson...helped the team win the 2004 and 2006 city championships...first-team all-city pick as a junior and secondteam as a senior...intercepted four passes as a junior and two more as a senior...also standout on the track and field team, competing in sprints and relays...part of the 4x100m city championship relay team.
