The Sports Information staff provides information about the student-athletes and staff of Tennessee Tech’s 14 intercollegiate teams. The staff works hard to make following the Golden Eagles as easy as possible for media and fans, including daily updates on TTUsports.com, game notes, email newsletter, Facebook and Twitter updates, and this media guide. The information in this guide was accurate as of July 20. We encourage you to check TTUsports.com for the Fall Camp Notebook to keep up with changes. Driving directions to Tucker Stadium From points east and west on I-40: Take Willow Avenue exit (exit 286); turn north onto Willow Avenue and proceed three miles; the campus and Tucker Stadium will be on your right. From points north and south on SR 42/111: Exit at Cookeville/Algood exit and turn west onto 10th street; proceed three miles to Washington Avenue, and turn right; proceed 2/10 mile to 12th Street and turn left; after 1/2 mile, the campus and the stadium will be on your left. Media Parking: Unless other arrangements are made with the Sports Information office, all media parking is in the South Lot next to Eblen Center, about one block from Tucker Stadium.

During The Week t WEEKLY LUNCHEON: Coach Watson Brown speaks each Monday at the Football Insider’s Lunch in the Eagles Nest of Eblen Center. Please contact the Sports Information Office if you would like to attend. No media filming will be allowed, but interviews can be arranged at the conclusion of the event. t PRACTICES: As a general rule, all Tech practices are open to the media and the public. The team works in the weight room each Sunday and Monday and is on the turf in Tucker Stadium Tuesday through Thursday. Please notify the Tech Sports Information office if you plan to atend practices. Television stations and photographers may shoot the 30 minutes of practice only. No post-practice interviews will be allowed without prior approval. t INTERVIEWS WITH COACH BROWN: Interviews with coach Watson Brown or his staff can be arranged by contacting the Sports Information Office. t PLAYER INTERVIEWS: All player interviews must be arranged through the Sports Information Office. This policy allows us to arrange a time that will not interfere with a student-athlete's academic schedule, which has top priority. No interviews will be granted in the day prior to any game. Please note: No player's phone number will be given out. t WEEKLY GAME NOTES: Tennessee Tech's Sports Information Office prepares and distributes weekly game notes, including statistics, records and game information. The release is distributed each Monday during the season by 8 p.m. The weekly game notes are available in PDF format on the Tech web site. t WEEKLY OVC TELECONFERENCE: Media are invited to call in each Tuesday during the season (Aug. 30 through Nov. 22) for the weekly OVC Coaches Teleconference. Tech’s Watson Brown will be the second coach on the conference call each week, beginning at 10:07 a.m. For call-in information, please contact the Tech Sports Information Office or the OVC Office.
