James NORMAND u Offensive Line u 6-2 / 285 u Junior u Oak Ridge, Tenn. u Oak Ridge High School A standout offensive lineman during his high school career, James opened his college career showing potential to be equally successful for the Golden Eagles...played most of his campaign season in a backup role but finished up as the starter at left tackle, earning the starts against Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State...expected to continue in a starting role for Tech in 2012...strong player with outstanding knowledge of his position...good techniques...proved to be especially capable in Tech’s speeded-up offense against Jacksonville State in 2010...great work ethic, both on the field and in the classroom...named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for all four semesters and landed on the OVC Commissioner’s Adademic Honor Roll in 2010.
