Blake ADAMS u Linebacker u 5-11 / 225 u Sophomore u Stone Mountain, Ga. u Dunwoody High School An extremely talented linebacker, Blake continued to have an impact at the inside linebacker position in 2011 after his debut in 2010. He’s a physical player with great quickness and excellent footwork...extremely hard worker...was sidelined during 2010 spring practice with an injury but worked through the summer to move up the depth chart in the fall season... has made two appearances on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner in both football and basketball, Cy was a standout for McMinn County High School... an Honor Roll student, he earned a handful of awards for his performance at quarterback for coach Bo Cagle...named ScholarAthlete of the Week and also Scholar-Athlete of the Year...two-time Offensive Player of the Year and twice All-Region pick...served as team captain and helped his squad capture the 2009 district championship...named the District 5-AAA Quarterback of the Year after passing for 1,765 yards and rushing for another 559 yards... accounted for 2,324 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns...completed 62 percent of his passes on the way to a 9-3 season...was a wide receiver in his sophomore season, making 12 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown...career as a quarterback added up to 3,482 passing yards and 23 touchdowns, along with 839 rushing yards and seven TDs.
