JORDAN HOPKINS JUNIOR • 5-10 • 169 • R/R KNOXVILLE, TENN. GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 2013 (Sophomore): Hopkins appeared in 23 games, making nine starts as a catcher… drove in three RBI on the season… drew 11 walks and recorded an on-base percentage of .405… recorded a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000… tallied four multi-walk games and went 1-for-1 on stolen base attempts. 2012 (Freshman): Hopkins started 14 games at catcher and made 23 appearances overall… hit .283 on the season… with only 60 at bats, had 17 hits that resulted in an impressive 12 RBI… defensively, held strong behind the plate with only three passed balls and a fielding percentage of .975… against Texas Tech (Feb. 19), Hopkins went 2-for3… facing OVC rival SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 15), went 3-for-5, crossed the plate twice, hit a homerun, and drove in six RBI. High School: Hopkins earned five letters in baseball at Grace Christian Academy… during his senior season, batted .495 with five home runs and 23 RBI… named to the all-region team his junior and senior seasons… also named all-state during his final season… helped his team to three straight district championships and one regional championship in 2011… earned three letters in basketball and two in football… was a member of National Honor Society.
