WEBB SCHOOL OF KNOXVILLE 2013 (R-Sophomore): Alexander made six appearances out of the bullpen… tossed 5.0 innings, racking up five strikeouts… pitched a seasonhigh 2.0 innings against Lipscomb (May 14), allowing just three hits while striking out a season-best two batters. 2012 (Sophomore): Alexander sat out the 2012 season as a redshirt due to injury. 2011 (Freshman): Alexander made 16 appearances on the mound, throwing 26.1 innings… against Alabama A&M (Apr. 6), struck out four batters in 2.2 innings pitched… against UT Martin (May 14) threw 4.1 innings, striking out seven batters… struck out a total of 21 batters on the year… recorded one save against Murray State (May 21). High School: Alexander was a four-year letter winner in baseball and football out of Webb School of Knoxville… named first-team all-state and allregion with an 11-1 pitching record and .397 batting average as a senior… led his team to the 2010 region and state titles… also named all-region as a sophomore and junior… a three-year starting cornerback for the football team, helped lead his team to state championships in 2006 and 2009.
