SOPHOMORE • 6-2 • 220 • L/L LIMESTONE, TENN. • SCIENCE HILL HS 2012 (RS-FRESHMAN): DelGaicco earned his first hit of the season against Alabama A&M, knocking a double off the wall… finished the season with a .167 batting average and a .333 slugging percentage. 2011 (FRESHMAN): Sat out the 2011 season as a redshirt. HIGH SCHOOL: DelGaicco earned four varsity letters in baseball at Science Hill High School as a first baseman and southpaw pitcher under coach Ryan Edwards… also played three years of football at the linebacker, tight end, and long snapper positions… helped his team to conference and district titles during his junior season and conference, district, region and sub-state titles during his senior year… named all-conference during his senior year of baseball and all-conference and “All-Tough Guy” following his senior year of football… graduated as the Valedictorian of his class. PERSONAL: Albert Dwane DelGaicco Jr. is the son of Sandra and Albert DelGaicco Sr. He was born July 20, 1992. DelGaicco is majoring in electrical engineering.
