2012 Golden Eagles Coaching Staff 2011 Season in Review

With the Burlington Bees, a Class A Affiliate of the Oakland A’s, AJ KirbyJones put together a fine summer as he drove in 50 RBI in 94 games. He recorded 78 hits on the season including 18 doubles and 13 home runs. He also maintained a .415 slugging percentage and finished the season with 10 hits in his last 10 games.

Ryan Dennick • LHP • North Olmsted, Ohio Ryan Dennick (above) was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2009. By 2011, Dennick had worked his way up the ranks in the Royals system as he earned a call up to the AA Northwest Arkansas Naturals. While with the Wilmington Blue Rocks in A, Dennick won three games, while striking out 51 batters, in 35 games.

Adam Liberatore • LHP • Rochester, PA. Liberatore put together a 6-5 record as a member of the Charlotte Stone Crabs. In 90.1 innings, Liberatore posted a 3.09 ERA as he struck out 70 batters, while issuing just 31 walks. He held opposing batters to a .266 average and gave up just three home runs.

Pryor began his season with the High Desert Mavericks but he wouldn’t stay there for long as he got called up to the Jackson Generals midway through the season. With the Generals, Pryor posted a 2-1 record, with a 1.19 ERA, in 17 games. He also posted 27 strikeouts and six saves.
