Byron PICKENS Mineral Area Community College: Byron averaged eight points, five rebounds and three assists at Mineral Area Community College…ranked 40th in the nation in blocked shots…earned allconference honors. High School: Byron was a three-sport athlete at Senn High School in Chicago, Ill…earned allconference, conference MVP and all-state honors during his four-year career under coaches Brandon Moody and Tony Coaston…averaged 18 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks per game throughout his career…also earned two letters in volleyball as a middle hitter and three letters in cross country…was also on academic honor roll.
