EUTELSAT W2A
This satellite is base on a Boeing Satellite system platform called 601HP, located at 107.7 EAST, this satellite will replace CAKRAWARTA. The satellite is build with 24 KU transponders to cover Philippines, India and Indonesia, and 10 S transponders to cover Indonesia. Launched with a Proton M vehicle, the satellite will be in the air for 15 years.

This new EUTELSAT Satellite will be positioned at 10 EAST and replace EUTELSAT W1. This Satellite carries 46 Ku and 10 C band transponders and 1 S band. Manufactured by Alcatel and based on a 4000C4 platform, this satellite will cover Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. A second fixed beam will serve southern Africa and Indian Ocean islands. The C-band mission will provide pan-African coverage for broadband and telecommunications services. This satellite is also a special joint venture with ASTRA, The S-band (2.0 and 2.2 GHz), which represents a new frequency band for both SES and Eutelsat, provides a set of frequencies optimized for supporting a wireless distribution network for delivering video and other services to mobile devices, including phones.
