Physical Installation Steps

Step 1: Place the NetEnrich appliance on a rack or on a flat surface. Place the other accessories either on a rack or on a flat surface in physical proximity to each other Step 2a: Identify and organize the networks for the NetEnrich system. The NetEnrich appliance A3000 supports two networks. Each appliance therefore has two network ports: A. The first network port (eth0) hooks up to the External Network 0 – also called the User Access network or External WAN network and typically connects to the public Internet via a firewall or DMZ. B. The second network port (eth1) hooks up to the Controller/Management Network 1 – this is the network where all the NetEnrich VPM Hard Controllers reside.
