ocal author Resa Goldberg has more than 20 years of experience as a journalist for radio, print and television, and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Georgia. Her first book, the memoir Love Me Madly, was published in July by Moonshine Cove Publishers. Love Me Madly offers a candid look at how a twoyear trauma Goldberg experienced as a teenager shaped her way of relating to men, and reveals her painful process toward a better way of life — and love. The book covers her failed marriage, debilitating migraines and dating disasters, as well as her healing process along the way. Both poignant and humorous, Goldberg’s book reveals how she relied on faith, close relationships with her children, her writing, and intense therapy to become the healthy, confident woman she is today. Below, Goldberg talks about her book, and her decision to partner with Safe Alliance in the hopes of helping others who have experienced sexual assault, teen pregnancy and domestic violence. Q: How long have you been working on your memoir? A: I have been working on my book for about three years.
