Henry makes cricket jump to Kings Quality XI ONE of the Jaguars’ most prolific all-rounders Earl Henry will start the new cricket season in Providenciales on Sunday with the Kings Quality XI side. The young all-rounder is excited about his new team’s composition and feels that the side should do well in the twenty20 tournament. “This new unit seems to be very competitive in the sense that the team is well balanced and the fact that it is a twenty20 side. The talent and natural skills in this much younger side should be a threat to any attack. The captain (Andy Kuthalingam) and players all have cricketing knowledge”. The right-handed batsman Henry, who bowls right arm medium pace said that the side: “Specialise in this format and given the fact that 80% of the team is from India it gives the King’s Quality XI an advantage over the other teams for excitement and inventive shot selections which is suited for this type of play.”
Accounts & Administration Officer Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Accounts & Administration Officer for an established Insurance Brokerage in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Knowledge of “Power Broker” an insurance brokerage management software package would be useful. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

Henry, who has walked away with the best batsman award in the past, has another big gun at his side in Damian St. Ange. The national player St. Ange, who was successful in the St. Lucian Hitters team a few years ago and for the Police team recently, is another seasoned all-rounder. He is known for his power hitting and medium pace and spin bowling. This year he did relatively well for TCI in the ICC tournament in Suriname. Henry said that his move from the Jaguars was never
personal. And indicated that he would use what he learnt with the side to better his future performances. So far the 22-year-old has scored two centuries and about 10 halfcenturies in Provo. He said gym work and fruitful net sessions should give him the push he needs to become a better performer this season. The Kings Quality XI were set to oppose the newest cricket team in Provo the KB Home Centre (made up of a number of rugby players) this Sunday.
