WHY US? Trinity College Dublin Students’ Union is your direct line to over 17,000 students. All students of Trinity College are members of the Students’ Union, putting us in a unique position to provide access for you to every person in the College community. External advertisers are prohibited on campus, and so sponsoring TCDSU is one of the best ways to bring your brand to the students of Trinity College. We at TCDSU want to help your company engage with our members. At the heart of Dublin’s busy city center, Trinity provides a unique and interesting space for you to promote your brand with thousands of students and members of the public passing through the campus each day. Trinity’s strength lies not only in its prestige and centuries of history, but also in its unique position as Dublin’s only city center university campus. As representatives of Trinity’s entire student body, we are in a unique position to help you to connect with a young, energetic student consumer base and world-class graduates from all disciplines. TCDSU plays a large role in the lives of Trinity students. From their first day of Freshers’ Week until the day they graduate, we provide a wide variety of entertainment, advice and services for students, and maintain a highly visible year-onyear campus presence. Due to our unique standing within the Trinity community we interact with more students more often than any other college organisation. Advertising with TCDSU offers a unique and exciting opportunity for your business. Whether you’re seeking to promote an exciting new product to enthusiastic young consumers or demonstrate your company’s social responsibility by helping us expand existing services to students in need, TCDSU is the only organisation connecting you with each and every student in Trinity College. We pride ourselves on our competitive rates, commitment to sponsorship promises, and the strength of our own well-established branding. FRESHERS’ WEEK Freshers’ Week is perhaps the most exciting week of the year at Trinity. Whether they’re an excited fresher stepping through Front Arch for the first time, or a final-year student happily returning to friends and parties, these five days offer a unique chance for students to relax and enjoy themselves free from academic pressures. This September we can help your brand connect with thousands of students over the course of just five days. Whether they’re new to Dublin or seasoned city-dwellers, the first week is crucial for connecting with students and leaving lasting impressions.

EVENTS Whether its one of our nightly parties, or a day-time event, Freshers’ Week is jam-packed with exciting new things to do. These events present a range of promotional and advertisement opportunities. For information on how your brand can be part of these experiences, contact ents@tcdsu.org

CAMPUS PRESENCE One of the most effective ways to engage with the students is to get on campus and engage with them directly. Outside advertisers are banned from campus, unless they’re working with TCDSU. We can provide your company and brand with the very best care, and facilitate you getting on campus to reach students.

PROVIDING PRODUCTS Students love free stuff, and providing products is a great way to get your brand into the hands of students here at Trinity (literally). Students always remember when a company gives them something for free, and we want to provide the very best for our students throughout their college experience. You can provide free products at a stand on campus. You can also donate to our Freshers’ Week packs, which are given out to students on the first week of term alongside the SU Diary. At the Freshers’ Week stand, we traditionally supply food and drinks to the hungry students, and we always have the largest stand at the whole Freshers’ Week Fair, which takes place in the middle of Front Square. You can also provide products for an event or campaign week, or for our TCDSU Council meetings which take place each month, convening hundreds of class representatives. Please contact communciations@tcdsu.org if interested.

NOTICEBOARD TCDSU also owns a number of noticeboards around college located in prominent locations – beside the Arts Block and Hamilton building, in every major faculty building and in off-campus locations such as St. James’ Hospital and Tallaght Hospital as well. For a small fee, we’ll ensure your posters are kept on our noticeboards for a period of time to advertise to students.
