A loyal alumnus, he was a trustee at Trinity from 1971 to 1977 and received the Alumni M edal for Excellence and th e Alumni Achievement Award . He leaves his wife, Jeanne H awes Faulkner, of Washington , D C, three daughters, Edith Faulkner Graves '80 , of Beth esda, MD, Elizabeth Faulkner R..i co, ofAlbany, CA, and C elia Faulkn er St. Onge, of Portland , ME; t\VO sons, David, of Mill Valley, CA, and Andrew '84, of San R afael, CA; a sister; a brother; and eight grand children.

Louis Sebastian Piotrowski, 1954, M.S. 1956 Louis S. Piotrowski of Rocky Hill, CT, Eri e, PA, and Palm Bay, FL, di ed on April 10, 2004 at age 71. Mter graduatin g from high school in H artford, he attended Trinity where he was a member of th e Brownell C lub. H e received his B.S. degree in 1954 and his M.S. degree in 1956. Subsequ ently, he earn ed a Certifi cate of Advanced Study at Wesleyan University. H e also studied at th e University of H artford and th e Sorbonne. For 35 yea rs, he was a teacher at East Hampton High School where he was named Teacher of th e Year in 1985. H e retired in 1991. He was a member of th e Podium Playe rs th eater group and of St. Patri ck's Church in East H ampton. H e leaves four daughters, Lisa Piotrowski, of Hollywood, FL, Ellen H endrix, of Bristol, RI, Karen R oss, of Higganum, CT, and Julie Piotrowski of N ewtonville, MA; his form er wife, Judith R ogers Piotrowski , of Rocky Hill, CT; a sister; and fi ve grand children. Ronald Harold Kent, 1955 Ronald " Rod" H. Kent, Sr. , 71 , of Oakton , VA, died on Jul y 26, 2004 of complications from a stroke. After gradu ating from high school in N ewington , CT, he attended Trini ty w here he was a member of Alpha C hi Rh o fra ternity, th e Glee C lub, and th e Canterbu ry Club. He received his B.A. degree in 1955. H e served in the N avy from th e late 1950s until 1981, atta ining th e rank of captain. His fin al acti ve-duty assignment was at th e Pentagon as director of advertising operati ons, w here his work included marketin g, public relations, and promotional activities. As a civilian, he worked in th e advertising departments of Goodwill Industri es, Na rioual Geographic, and other area businesses . Among his survivors are his wife, Mari on Jayne Jones Kent, of O akton , VA; t\Vo children, Ron ald Kent, Jr. , of Birmingham, VA, and Kimberl ee Kent, of O akton, VA; a brother; and four grandchildren. William Peck Elwell, Jr., 1959 William P. Elwell, Jr., 68, of Hingham, MA , di ed on April 26, 200-+ after a long illness. After gradu atin g from preparatory school in Belmont, MA, he attended Trinity where he was a member of Alpha Delta Phi fraterni ty. He received his B.A. degree in 1959. From 1959 to 1963, he served in th e N avy on a guided missile cruiser and as an aide to the shipyard commander in Portsm outh , VA. After his discharge, he worked for N ew England Mutual Li fe Insurance Co., retiring in 2003 . H e was an active member of th e C hurch of St.John th e Eva ngelist

m Hingham, MA; belonged to th e Cohasset Golf Club; and was a trustee emeritus of the Carroll School in Lincoln, MA. H e was a fo rm er member of the Hingham Yacht Club and the Country Club in Brookline, MA . H e leaves his wife, Anne Johnston Elwell , of Hingham, MA; t\Vo daughters, Sarah Markert, of N ew Canaan, CT, and N ancy Michalowski , of Cohasset, MA; a son , D avid Elwell, of Charl estown, MA ; two sisters; and seven grandchildren.

Howard BonbrightiL 1961 H oward Bon bright II , 64, of Locust Valley, NY, di ed of natural causes on June 15, 2004. After graduating from preparatory school in Grosse Pointe, Ml, he attended Trinity wi th th e C lass of 1961. He was a member of Alpha D elta Phi fraterni ty at th e College. H e worked for several companies, including th e N ational Steel Corp. and th e Bryn M awr Trust Co. H e had been a volunteer at th e C radl e of Aviation Museum, The N awre Conservancy, and Gl en Cove H ospital. Surviving are t\VO dau ghters, Hilary Mullarkey and Elizabeth M oulton; a sister; and six grandchildren.

Master's William Gordon Voorhes, M.A. 1963 William G.Voorhes of Brownsville,TX , and Orleans, MA , di ed on Sept. 3, 2004 at age 75. H e received master's degrees fro m th e University of Kentucky and Trinity C ollege in 1950 and 1963, respectively. In 1955 , he began workin g for Combustion Engineerin g in Windsor, CT. From 1970 to 1983, he worked at th e Wansku ck Co. of Providence, RI. H e became president and CEO in 1978. In 1983, he starred Belmont Wire Specialties. H e began a second career as a vo lunteer with the International Executi ve Service Corps in 1986, traveling to developing countries to provide management and technical assistance to client companies. He also led th e planning conunission in East Greenwich, R I, and served on th e board of directors of th e Providence Library. H e was the former commodore of th e N amequoit Sailing Associati on in Orleans, MA. Among his survivors are his wife, Avis Bercin Voorh es, of Brownsville, TX, and Orleans, MA ; two daughters, Meg, ofTakoma Park , MD, and Amy, of Mill Valley, CA; t\VO sons, D avid, ofWinchester, MA , and John , of Pacifi ca, C A; and nine gra ndchildren.
