Screed Our strong, high quality flowing floor screeds are designed to deliver the perfect finish and are ideal for all common floor finishes. Suitable for foot traffic within 24-48 hours, partitions after just seven days our range of anhydrite and cement flowing screeds deliver market leading performance.
Flowing screed Our flowing screeds are manufactured using a binder, aggregates and selected additives to produce a free-flowing, selfcompacting screed to BSEN 13813:2002 standard.
Flowing screeds, particularly anhydrite screeds are often used over under floor heating systems as their thinner section and better thermal performance can lead to reduced heating costs. Screeds are generally laid by companies specialised in their usage and installation.

Ablemix flowing screed can be used as a bonded, unbonded, or floating construction.
Smarter construction The binder for our anhydrite flowing screed is made from 98% recycled material. Compared to sand cement, the Topflow Screed A self-compacting solution installed carbon footprint saving is 20.45kg CO₂e/m².
Anhydrite flowing screed Anhydrite flowing screeds offer a range of performance benefits over sand/cement screeds. They are fast and easy to lay, self, compacting, low cost, fast-drying, pumpable and deliver minimal shrinkage. Free flowing Anhydrite screed from Ablemix can be laid in areas of up to 1500m² in just one day. Suitable for foot traffic within 24-48 hours, partitions after just seven days. Suitable for use with under-floor heating as long as pipes/elements are covered by 25mm.
Cementitious screed Ablemix cementitious flowing or liquid screed uses smaller and fewer aggregates than its solid counterpart. This creates a flowing, liquid-like consistency that allows it to be poured rather than handled. Flowing screed is applied via a pump making it faster and simpler to pour. Designed to provide a smooth level surface ready for the application of the finished floor surface. Offering low shrink, free-flowing installation our cementitious flowing screed is suitable for floating, bonded and unbonded flooring systems. Delivered ready mixed, our flowing screed delivery eliminates the time and space required for onsite mixing.
Liquid screed Liquid screed is used on concrete slabs and foundations to provide a level and smooth surface ready for the final floor finish application. Our Topflow screed A, liquid screed is innovative, pumpable and designed to perform against a wide range of project requirements. Liquid screed is ideal for underfloor heating as it flows around pipes to form a void-free finish. No voids deliver greater conductivity allowing the heat to diffuse evenly in the screed. We supply British Standard screed across the Midlands and work with accredited suppliers on installation. Our Topflow liquid screed is easy to install and provides a perfect, smooth finish.
