GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Graduate Certificate in Business Foundations provides an intensive, graduate level introduction to business concepts, tools, and techniques across three critical dimensions: decision making, measurement, and market orientation. The 16 credit hour program prepares current and aspiring managers to contribute to strategic and operating decisions within their organizations and professions; it also fulfills prerequisite requirements for entry into the MBA program. The certificate is offered at the Tampa campus. Cohort programs may be offered off site.

The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship, offered in an inter-disciplinary framework through the Center for Entrepreneurship in conjunction with the Muma College of Business, the College of Engineering, and USF Health, offers students the opportunity to do graduate-level study that focuses on the various aspects of entrepreneurship.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: An undergraduate degree in any major from a regionally-accredited college or university with a 3.0 target GPA (exceptions may be made for students with older undergraduate degrees who have significant work experience and for students who have pursued more difficult undergraduate disciplines). There are no prerequisites.

GRADUATE CERTIFICATES NATIONAL & COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE This certificate is designed to promote students’ analytical capabilities, not only improving their competitiveness in the employment process, but also giving them solid intellectual foundations for demanding jobs. Those who earn the certificate should be able to effectively gather, analyze, and evaluate information and present conclusions both orally and in writing. The program helps prepare students for careers in government, especially intelligence positions, or analytical executive positions in the banking, insurance, and the pharmaceutical industries. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Students admitted to the graduate certificate program must have completed at least four semesters of a foreign language before admission to the graduate program.

SAS/USF CERTIFICATE COMPLIANCE, RISK, AND ANALYTICS AND BUSINESS ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING This program provides a foundation INTELLIGENCE Analytics and business intelligence skills are in great demand today. This certificate prepares students to acquire necessary skills in analytics and business intelligence as needed in the marketplace. Graduate students who take four of the five required courses, and earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher in each, receive a Joint SAS/USF Certificate in Analytics and Business Intelligence when they use a SAS analytics package as part of some of these courses. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Students should meet the statistics and database prerequisites as outlined in the graduate catalog for the MS/MIS program. International students must submit a TOEFL score when English is not the native language. A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test or 79 on the webbased test is required.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a business degree from an AACSB-accredited (or equivalent internationally recognized body e.g., EQUUS) institution. Students admitted into any graduate program in the Muma College of Business or the cybersecurity program are eligible. When English is not the native language, students must submit TOEFL scores. A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test or 79 on the web-based test is required.
