helicopter was waiting on alert at a near military base during the expedition, against any emergency situation. On the way back to home some mystical incidents happened to the cavers. Cave research is not finished yet and still on-going.
They took a trek route inside a chestnut forest and arrived to the entrances of the caves. Both caves were quite small but it was good practice for the cavers who did not have any cave surveying experience.

Kuzgun Cave Kuzgun Mağarasi
Using the information provided by Birol YANIK of Gönen, an activity is organized to visit GönenDereköy Caves on March 3-4, 2007. Although the existance of the caves were already known before, theis maps were missing and the activity was planned as a training and mapping expedition. A group of 12 completed the maps of Keçili Cave (29m), Sulu Cave (84m), Kuru Cave (147) and Kız Kesen (13m).
Kuzgun cave expedition; an important part of the project “ High Alpine Karst and Deep Cave Systems” which is been held by MTA Cave Research Group ( General Directorate of Mine Research and Exploration) and Ukranian Academy of Science at Aladaglar started at 2000. Cave is found accidentially in year 2003. First year cave been explored to vertically -400 meters, then the following year research group performed a significant success by decending down to -1400 meter. This decent is been recorded as the highest performance has been done ever in 1 exploration facility. The project had taken to on-hold position between 2006-2007 but plan is to go on research facilities in 2008.
Valla Canyon (April 23) Activity Valla Kanyonu 23 Nisan Etkinliği The Valla Canyon was visited on April 21, 2007. Valla Canyon is located near Sümenler Village of Kastamonu. The cave in the canyon was named as Kayadibi Kuyucak. The length of the cave is 159m and the depth of the cave is -196m. The group involved in the exploration and mapping of the cave was later joined by a larger group of cavers and friends and the activity continued with a joyful camp.

In this article, various interviews and news published in media between July 2004 and October 2007 are summarized. These news contain interviews with different association members about caving as well as the view and activities of Cave Research Association in preservation of caves and use of caves for touristic purposes. The “bear encounter” in Nallıhan Expedition (January 2006) is also among the news published in press.

Zeyniler caves are very close to the Bursa city center, you can even go to the caves by walk. Three cavers from Cave Research Society - Bursa Branch met at 09:00 am at subway station and after 20 minutes travel by car they arrived to the beginning of a slope.
