Page 11

Corrections The name of Flintco was misspelled on page 9 in last edition’s “Corrections” box. The national construction firm sponsored the 2009 TSA Design Awards jury, a sponsorship that was omitted from an article on the Design Awards program in the Sept/Oct edition. Texas Architect regrets the multiple errors. In the news article on the AIA San Antonio Design Awards (p. 19 in Jan/Feb), the firm of Durand-Hollis Rupe was omitted from the project team for Full Goods Building and Il Sogno. The firm served as architect of record for the project designed by Lake/ Flato Architects. The feature (“Seamless Expansion,” Jan/Feb p. 38) on two new residential colleges at Rice University misspelled the name of the architect for the Brochstein Pavilion. Thomas Phifer and Partners designed the project, another recent addition to the Rice campus.

The feature (“Campus Engagement,” Jan/Feb p. 58) on the new student center at Stephen F. Austin State University contained two errors. First, the name of the building is the Baker Pattillo Student Center. The name was misspelled as “Patillo” in the article. Second, the word “State” was inadvertently omitted in the article’s first reference to Stephen F. Austin State University. Also, in the Nov/Dec edition, the name of the photographer was inadvertently misspelled in the credits for the feature (“Local Legacy” on p. 52) on the Center for Architecture San Antonio. The name is Gillies & Pearlstone Photography.
