WLB BULL 52Z 4002C WHEATLAND PREDATOR 922W MRL MISS 836W WLB OIL PATCH 132N 366R WLB 414K EVE 352N

El Tigre and our favorite Oil Patch daughter have joined together to construct an unique individual in this black ET herd bull prospect. His 11 year old recipient mother packed it in before he could post a normal 205 day weaning weight. His genetics have kicked in and he has made up some lost ground. His moderate frame and extra thickness will add to the look and sale ability of his calf crop. His genetics are solid like a rock. A maternal brother went to work at Muirhead Cattle Co., Prince Albert. SK. A son of a maternal sister is working at Double Bar D Simmentals, Grenfell, SK. Another son of that maternal sister is working for the Dolls in North Dakota. 4002C is the kind of bull that catches your eye from whatever direction you approach him.

His dam is pictured on page 26.

If you want way more muscle, more rib, more depth of body and you would like a really good mother thrown in to boot, then you will want to invest in this one of a kind opportunity. His dam, 3551W has put top end performance sons in more than one of our bull sales. These WDA kings are working for Stoughton Farms, Maidstone, SK, Leonard Bergen Simmentals, Winnipegosis, MB, and Glen Aldentaler in South Dakota. Her sons seem to always pack performance and her daughters make top cow material(look up lot 25). 3551W is also one of our “6 flush sisters”. His body mass and his strength of build along with his dam’s production record make quite a statement about the genetic and physical impact he will have on his calves.

Belle 3554W is one of the “6 flush sisters” that was referred to in the Lot 4 El Tigre bull. This not only makes 418C and 4180C blood brothers to Lot 5 but also closely related to a number of other lead off male and female lots that we have offered in past events. Their type and growth fits right in with what we have come to expect from El Tigre and the “6 flush sisters”. This brother has excelled all summer and has continually displayed “the El Tigre look”.

There should be lots to look forward to in both these El Tigre brothers with the performance provided by 52Z and Black Label 156S. But don’t think it stops there. You will find a whale of a maternal influence with the combination of the MRL 836W and the L205 cows lined up in their pedigrees. In spite of his low birth wt. he doesn’t take you to the basement with his performance numbers. Her first born has proven what a good choice she was. As a mother she had a beautiful udder full of milk and a great disposition. Her Absolute son is a smooth sided, deep bodied, long spined, top end herd bull candidate that demands more and more consideration the older he gets. It wouldn’t surprise me to hear some of you say he’s the best all around bull of the bunch. He is good on paper, good on type and conformation, and pretty good on performance.

His Blacksand mother is a moderate frame, wide hipped, bold ribbed Lotto 52Y daughter. Darryl Snider was out for a visit in August and took a tour of our bull calves. He first saw 369C when he was nursing his mother. Darryl’s comment was “Is there a cow on the other side of him?” He will give up a bit of yearling weight performance as he had a post weaning injury to recover from. We calved our first 254Z daughters this spring and they are every bit the good mothers that Randy Geisler(our partner in 254Z) said they would be with the Ms Knight 112R cow as his mother. This March herd bull has his ducks in a row. His two-year-old Good Time mother weaned him off with plenty of WW pounds and he has carried on with admirable post weaning growth. You will find his real life look is much better than the picture we have posted in this catalogue. His good numbers speak for themselves and are a reflection of the trait strong bulls that make up his ancestry. The Baronson 254Z sons were much sought after in last year’s sale so be aware that we are limited in the number we have to offer this year.

In the forty plus years Nancy and I have been breeding Herefords we have been blessed with a number of reliable and highly productive females. Some we raised and some we bought. Juno 204S is one of them. She was our pick out of the Remitall dispersal. She’s mothered a number of good ones including our “Mr Canada” herd bull, a goggle eyed Lego son that is working for the Lehmans, Rosthern,SK, a lead off Global son for Harvey and Beth McKay, Kincardine, ON(see calving ease lot 65). You will find a Global daughter in the WLB cowherd that is one of our favorite young cows (Be sure to look up her Mr Hereford son which sells as lot 65.) Juno has a very interesting red eyed Tonka son this year. Red Rover comes to you packed with a bunch of goodness. His proud, no problem front end, a common characteristic of Powerball progeny, is complimented by his red-eye, red-neck, red-nutted and almost red to the ground colour pattern. If you want to talk structure and muscle, Red Rover has it together. His settled disposition is icing on the cake to an individual that has a very long list of assets.
