There’s nothing like riding with a posse of women. This past winter, I was lucky enough to experience two Burton Girls ride days, first at Vail and then at Mammoth. We rode together in a big pack of 20+ women. The groups were a mix of Burton female staff, pro riders, journalists, industry women, and girls who just love to ride. Chairlift conversations flowed freely from talking about how a boot fits or favorite board models to figuring out where to ride next. Days like this reaffirm why women’s snowboarding is so powerful. When we ride together, friendships spark, memories are made, wisdom is exchanged,
and inside jokes are born. For a few short hours, problems fade, worries melt away, and you’re just enjoying the next turn. Life is busy, things go wrong, challenges pop up, so finding something like snowboarding that makes you happy is a gift. Board Finder Sliders
Every board we make is waxed, buffed, finessed, and shred-ready before leaving the factory. Our Microfinish process involves over 30 finishing steps, including an edge tune and detune, that puts the right amount of sharpness and bevel on each board to ensure the perfect finish for all riding styles and conditions.
ENDURO WAXING PROCESS After Microfinishing comes Enduro Waxing. Each board is waxed and hot-buffed for a shiny, super-fast ride right out of the shop.

INFINITE RIDE™ It’s no secret that we make the most diverse and complete board line-up in the industry, with each board targeting a specific type of rider. To help narrow the rider’s search, we have simplified each board based on the four most basic factors.
SLIDER-BEND This slider tells you what kind of Bend a board has, whether it’s camber, Flat Top, or a hybrid blend of rocker and camber.
This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Mounting
SLIDER-TERRAIN A groomer board can ride pow or park, but if someone prefers one over the other, they should consider where this lands based on characteristics like Bend and shape.
SLIDER-PERSONALITY Doesn’t matter if you’ve been riding one day or daily for 10 years, some riders like to rip hard and fast and expect a board that keeps up, while others prefer a board that’s soft and playful.
SLIDER-WIDTH Not to be overlooked, boot size not only determines binding size, but should account for a board’s width. Toe and heel drag can ruin a ride and if a board’s too wide it’s harder to get on edge.
THE CHANNEL™ Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable—The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). Better yet, all boards with The Channel are fully covered by a 3-year warranty. This means that if you have any issue with any part of the board, even if The Channel is in mint condition, you are covered.
SPLIT CHANNEL Go ahead and get picky with your splitboarding stance, and continue to fine-tune it as the season unfolds. With the Split Channel, you get the strongest, fastest, easiest, and most adjustable mounting system ever offered on a splitboard. The days of compromise are officially over. All Burton splitboards with the Split Channel come with pucks pre-mounted for easy setup.
M6 TRANSITION KIT The M6 Transition Kit (available for FREE with Burton board purchase) contains everything needed to ride pre-2011 Burton Disc and EST® bindings with the latest generation of The Channel™. The kit includes two retro discs for compatibility with Burton Disc bindings, as well as a full set of the M6 Transition hardware for compatibility with both Burton Disc and EST bindings.
Shape TWIN Perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.
DIRECTIONAL The classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition.
WIDE Select boards offer versions of their signature rides in wider platforms that are redesigned from the ground up for riders with a size US 11+ men’s boot.
MID WIDE Optimized around a size US 10–10.5 men’s boot, the added waist width eliminates toe and heel drag, thus increasing stability and fun.
TAPER A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation. Look for different amounts of taper throughout the line.
Flex TWIN The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile regular or switch.
DIRECTIONAL This flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.

DIRECTIONAL FLYING V™ A blend of rocker and camber in the nose combines float and control while camber under the back foot drives with power and stability.

PODBED™ CUSHIONING The PodBED outsole on the women’s Supreme boot was designed in tandem with the Escapade EST’s PodBED cushioning, but enhances comfort with any binding. Targeted stiffness and dual density EVA foam balances response with dampening, a gel heel absorbs impact, and a rubber toe/heel ensures a lightweight grip.

To ensure a consistent flex from day 1 to 100, Burton Imprint™ liners feature strategically placed Power Panels that, even after being deeply flexed, return to their original position.
To keep up with kid’s constant growth spurts, the Room-To-Grow™ footbed allows you to gain one full size. Rather than buy new boots every season, simply remove the footbed when the fit becomes snug. A secondary, integrated footbed means there’s no compromise in cushioning or support.
