Obstacle 1 ENTANGLEMENTS

e carried on our traditional morning race/track with the youth! This year the theme was UNITY! They were divided into four groups. Each person received a “heart” (an efervecent pill hung by a thread) and the instruction: “Care for your heart no matter the adversities you’ll face!” Each group had to go in the water to receive their first clue! Then they’d run up the track, going through obstacles, learning that the Christian walk is not a walk through the park, but in the midst of each fight and struggle we must trust in the blood of Jesus (represented by a red rope), stick together (they had to run through the bush holding hands) and support one another in their difficulties (cheering for each other counted points and if someone on the team fall, they all had to go through the obstacle again)!
