ITPI kickstarts NREA CDO trade exhibit Architect Romolo V. Nati gives talk on eco-friendly architecture and design
ItalPinas Euroasian Design and EcoDevelopment (ITPI Corp.), the developer of Primavera Residences in Cagayan De Oro City, stressed the need for property developers to lower their carbon footprint when developing properties during the recently concluded 2nd NREA Cagayan De Oro Chapter Biz-Con & Trade Exhibits held at the Activity Center of the Centrio mall. The National Real Estate Association (NREA) is a national trade organization comprising property developers, government agencies and advocates of urban and housing developments aimed at promoting strategic partnerships and collaborations. As one of the guest speakers at the event, ITPI chief executive officer, Romolo V. Nati gave a short talk on sustainable solutions for developing and designing properties. According to Nati, the architecture and design of a building can be drawn from nature itself. He cited two ITPI projects, Primavera Residences in Cagayan de Oro and another one in Santo Tomas, Batangas that adapt to the environment, particularly on how the buildings were designed to minimize the amount of direct sunlight entering the units. Protecting the units from the intense heat of the sun, he said, reduces power consumption, thus, eliminating the need for an air-conditioner. Primavera Residences, the company's first project, is also designed in a way that reduces the impact on the environment.
