Stratford Academy is excited to partner with FlynnO’Hara Uniforms for our school’s uniform needs. FlynnO’Hara was selected because of their belief that a school uniform is so much more than just the clothes on a student’s back. A uniform represents community and provides a sense of belonging; it eliminates one extra decision in a day already packed with important choices, and allows students to focus on what really matters: their education & personal growth.

All previous uniform items, excluding the plaid, are grandfathered in for the upcoming school year. There has also been an update made to the Stratford Academy wordmark embroidered on the polo shirts.

The Overlook Plaid is named for the original home of Stratford Academy at the top of Coleman Hill, a lookout over downtown Macon that gave Stratford’s founding students a vision of the world ahead and the future that awaited them. The Overlook name commemorates that heritage and that mission—of preparing students for what’s beyond the next horizon.
The plaid weaves together Stratford’s core colors of navy blue, gray, and white in a tapestry that symbolizes the richness and history of our school—gray for those who seek wisdom, white for the tradition that is our anchor, and navy blue for the freedom to pursue excellence. Throughout the pattern, bright blue bands cross above and behind, representing the light of potential that shines within each Stratford student. All together, the myriad strips of color represent the strength of our community: many voices woven together in a fabric of unbreakable bonds.
