Trend Report Each year, our designers interpret trends related to fashion, colour and interiors. These are used as inspiration for our seasonal products such as style kits and accessories. We´ve been watching key influencers and thought you might like to know what we´ve found. Here we let you in on the biggest current trends.
Retro Art Bright bold hues like orange and retro blue are stand-out colours this season. Graphic and optical patterns, typical of the 60´s are back en force. They readily complement and update more classic pieces for a truly eclectic look. Paired with black, white and grey neutrals these strong colours make for a classic yet modern expression.

Lifes greatest miracle Nothing can compare with the feeling of finding out that you are pregnant. For me, it felt like a true miracle that we had been looking forward to for a long time.

y son Arthur was born as a healthy, energetic and happy baby boy and my boyfriend Hein and I were in a bubble of joy. Still, during those first few months when our baby was a newborn, life was incredibly overwhelming and intense. Suddenly we were taking care of someone else in addition to just ourselves! Luckily everything fell into place as we got the hang of things. I began bringing Arthur along with me on outings, as I wanted him to get to know the people in our lives. In the fashion industry, it is essential to stay current, so I soon found myself back at work attending
fashion shows and events, proudly showing off my new buddy. The experience of becoming a mother for the first time has taught me that it is important not to forget about yourself and to maintain your own identity. When you feel happy and good about yourself, it positively affects the people around you. For me, it is important to remain engaged in my interests, and as a result, Arthur has turned out to be just as social as his mom and dad, so it works out perfectly. He loves to go everywhere with me and to be the center of attention.
Learning as we go Social media often tells us how to be the perfect mom, and there are a lot of ideas about how the ideal mother should be. Everyone gives you different tips and advice. But I find it to be an exciting journey to find out what type of mom you want to be and which values you choose to bring into your own parenting style from your own upbringing. We felt so blessed when Arthur came into our lives, but the future also holds exciting news; Arthur is going to be a big brother. A new miracle is on its way, and our family is growing.

Make a mood board: search for pictures you love to keep your ideas focused.
Room layout: deciding where your baby will sleep is a good starting point. Select key furniture pieces first: a bed, a clever changing table and
general storage possibilities are key. Lighting: install soft lighting with
dimmers. A small accent lamp gives a
cosy glow and works well as a nightlight.
Install curtains or blinds for cooling the room during the day and for day time sleep.
Don't forget practicalities. Pay special attention to your baby's safety and
ensure everything's convenient for you. Plan ahead: think long term and leave
room to grow for your soon-to-be toddler.
Don't wait until the last minute. Enjoy the process and make the nursery a truly special room for you and your family.

My son and me We modern dads are supposed to be well equipped for fatherhood. Increasingly skillfull with a packet of wet wipes. Being able to tell the difference between your baby’s cries for food or another wet nappy. Well let me tell you, it doesn’t come naturally, at least not for this dad. It comes by getting to know your baby.

ure it’s nice being able to share the whole experience with your partner. Feeling those first few kicks, getting involved with prenatal activities and of course doing your bit at the birth, however inadequate or guilty that makes you feel. But let’s face it guys, the first bit’s all about mum and baby, and that’s how it should be. What awaits though is something altogether different. When Stokke asked me to write about my bonding experiences with my son Isak (three words that still feel strange and wonderful), those first Disney-like images of smiling babies and their superhero, square-jawed fathers didn’t seem to do the concept justice. So what exactly is bonding all about? For Isak and me it’s about sharing those things that make me who I am. Doing the things I love together with him. Moments where just he and I are taking part, where I call the shots and he follows my lead. It’s about creating a language between the two of us, 50
whether through smiles, giggles or his first few words. And yes, dads giggle too. A recipe for happiness From the moment we arrived home together, Isak became a permanent member of my kitchen staff. I love to cook and do so at least once a day. I like to think it’s my fault that Isak refuses to eat any type of ready-made food. He just won’t touch it. What I am sure of, is that his love for food and flavours has grown because he’s been strapped to my tummy by the chopping board. His first word apart from the standard repertoire was “cheese”, followed by “apple”, “pear” and “pepper”, perhaps the beginnings of a winning recipe. Our other love, which is easily combined with cooking, is dancing to 70’s disco. The harmony of our voices can often be heard throughout the neighbourhood on a Sunday afternoon while lunch is bubbling away. Our bodies move as one, a shake of the hips and a pivot on the toes. Another pinch of nutmeg and
a splash of Boney M. Probably a good thing that good bonding shouldn’t have an audience. A year and a half into fatherhood, I know my son and he knows me and tomorrow we’ll know each other even better. Life tastes sweet. All the sweeter for those moments that Isak and I enjoy together.

n many ways I didn’t become a mother the day that James was born. I became a mother through the endless sleepless nights when I sat in my bed, rocking him to sleep in my arms. I became a mother on those days that he refused to be put down and I strapped him into his carrier and held him close to me all day long. I became a mother that night that I put him into his pram at 11pm and walked around my neighborhood in the dark wearing pajamas and a coat knowing that it was the only thing that would lull him to sleep. James is the best thing that has ever happened to me. The love has come tiptoeing in on me, more and more with each passing day.

The fast pace of a modern city makes for a busy life, especially with two small children.

his family makes the best of both worlds with an apartment in downtown Oslo and a summerhouse on the coast of Southern Sweden. It's not unusual in Scandinavia to have a vacation house but Helena and Lee's homes couldn't be more different with an apartment from 1920 and a newly built modernist summer retreat. They have two Tripp Trapp速 chairs in the apartment and a Stokke速 Steps chair in the house,
as Helena explains "We love our two Tripp Trapp速 chairs, the chair is a real Scandinavian design classic, practical and timeless. Our Stokke速 Steps chair really suits the summerhouse though with it's clean lines and more modern feel".
