Whatever progression you prefer the choice and support for all routes is always available at St Mary’s College. WHAT TO STUDY? During the next few months you will be gathering information about the different courses available to you and the progression they offer to Higher Education, training or employment. Throughout the year you will be offered several opportunities to talk in detail to St Mary’s staff about the subjects and types of courses which will suit you best. Clearly you will already have some subjects in mind and the staff will also be able to give you information about new subjects which are available post- 16 but which you may not have had the opportunity to study previously.

The majority of our programmes are for full-time students aged 16 - 19, are located on-site and run from September to June, operating between the times of 9am and 4pm. You can find and download course information from our website at www.stmarysblackburn.ac.uk In addition, all course details and specialist advice will be available at our Information Evenings in the autumn term on October 8th and October 22nd. As demand for places at St Mary’s College is high we would recommend application as soon as possible after your Information Evening and by the deadline agreed with your school.
