Prairie Sand RU-1340 Series
Prairie Sand is inspired by the works of Frank Lloyd Wright and his Prairie School of Architecture. The prairie style rugs are designed to look like a stained glass window and is colored in a palette that is reminiscent of the stained glass from the Arts and Crafts era. Most of Frank Lloyd Wright’s stained glass windows were considered by him to be abstracts of nature allowing light in to illuminate and enhance the building’s interior. It is our desire that the Prairie Sand Rug has the same effect of bringing light and beauty into any room it graces. Hand-knotted by Nepalese weavers using wool from Himalayan Highland sheep, this rug will last many lifetimes to be enjoyed by generations to come.
