From the President Dear Mothers, Daughters and Friends of St. Francis High School, Once again, I have the distinct honor of welcoming you to the annual Mother/Daughter Fashion Show. This year’s theme, Vive La Vie, will take you on a grand tour of Paris and the Palace of Versailles as you are charmed by lovely young women, our very own Mademoiselles of 2011, and their mothers. As with preparations for any world-class event, it takes weeks of planning, arranging, scheduling, organizing, coaching and anticipating. Then, all of a sudden, everything is ready and voila! the show begins. Merci to Kathy Rudd, mother of Victoria ’09 and Emilee ’11; and to Kathleen Friend, mother of Michelina ’09, Corinne ’12 and Delaney ’14 for their tireless effort to bring you this spectacular show. And Merci to their entire Fashion Show committee for attending to all the details of the event. Merci also to choreographer Lisa Schwan, for once again transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, for taking us abroad so we can vive la vie as never before. From the Event Chairs Bonjour and Welcome to the 2011 St. Francis Mother Daughter Fashion Show Vive La Vie! We are delighted that you are joining us for everything French as we celebrate the beautiful seniors of St. Francis High School, their mothers and fathers, along with our friends from Jesuit High School. A heartfelt merci beaucoup to the many people who made this show possible. We are grateful to all of our amazing volunteers who transformed our campus into springtime in Paris through the donation of their time and talents and their commitment to St. Francis and their daughters. We would also like to thank the St. Francis staff who supported us, including Marion Bishop, Janis Pattison, Carrie Harcharik, Ingrid Niles and Leigh Hiers. Thank you to choreographer Lisa Schwan for her beautiful production. Finally, we would like to thank our own wonderful daughters of St. Francis High School: Michelina ’09, Victoria ’09, Emilee ’11, Corinne ’12 and Delaney ’14. Their experiences at St. Francis have helped mold them into amazing young women who inspire us every day! This show would not be possible without the support of so many.
