Alchemy In dreams I claim forbidden things, things daylight can’t allow, things made riotous with capture that can never be let loose upon the waking world: Your earthly body: with an unintended touch a wish becomes required, base metal turned to gold. Your mouth is my elixir – sweet collision, storm, a gasp of breath. But when I look, distill the darkness:
