Universal Exhaust Outlet Snow Deflector Engine

When riding in deep snow, the exhaust outlet can become partially plugged, causing reduced performance and even bogging. The universal snow deflector creates a trench in the snow, allowing free flow for the exhaust. It will fit most snowmobiles. The deflector requires a flat mounting PART # PRICE/KIT area of 1” x 3 ½”, just forward of the exhaust outlet. 090-02

Tech Tip: Continued from page 62 most OEm spark plug caps are screwed onto the spark plug wire. Over time, they can loosen up and this connection can be compromised. To insure you have a good connection, screw the spark plug cap onto the wire in a clockwise direction. If the spark plug cap will not tighten up, unscrew the cap, cut 1/4 inch off of the wire, apply dielectric grease and screw it back together. This can only be done if there is enough wire to still reach the spark plugs. In many instances, the cap and wire will need to be replaced. Dielectric grease should be applied here to promote a good connection.
