Ka-Pow! Pop! Poetry!
Day Dream I close my eyes and what do I see? The dream is always the same for me. I see a court with a NCAA circle of blue, A crowd yelling and waving their arms, too. The teams are announced and we are ready to go. A running offense and a smothering defense we will show. Our uniforms proudly display our number and name. I am one of those guys in this game. The ball goes up and the action begins. The passes, the baskets, hoping for the wins. I am the playmaker and the pressure I feel. I head fake, bounce pass, and shoot as if it is real. The ball is bounced and passed around. We run, shoot, guard and rebound. The scoreboard keeps changing as we go up and down. This game has become the best in town! My shot is up and I give a shout because the basket sis good as time runs out! Jaydan Morgan 6th Grade, Jackson Middle School
