Grades 4 & 5

“Donut Dance” As the chocolate, creamy donut danced upon my hand With sprinkles so soft, I had to say “oh man’’.

It was a rainbow in my mouth Chocolate drizzled, large as my house. They’re round, sprinkled, and love to dance Just the smell makes me want to prance.

So glazed and brown,

baking bread, bumpy and tasting of sugar Making me feel comfy.

There is a cream stick Chocolaty with jelly. It makes a calm sound Settling in my belly.

The donut dance can be sticky Hurry up and dance, The time is ticking.

Some donuts taste good, There’s no reason to lie. It’s soft and glazed with blueberry, oh my!

The donut dance is really fun. There’s strawberry and chocolate Why don’t you have one?
