Saturday, Oct 6 • 11:00 am–Noon Grades K–5 w/caregiver: Learn how to prepare healthy foods with your children that they will love! A hands–on cooking experience presented by professional chef Candace Brown.

The Undead at Jackson

Thursday, Oct 25 • 6:00–8:00 pm • Adults: The enduring appeal of the undead will be explored with Mark Dawidziak, Plain Dealer TV critic, playwright and author of The Night Stalker Companion and other vampire–centric books. He will share items from his personal collection and help us understand this worldwide fascination.

Honoring Veterans

Monday, Nov 12 • 11:00 am–Noon • Adults: Veterans are welcome to visit Jackson Branch Library today to enjoy coffee and doughnuts. Share an hour of fellowship and conversation with other service men and women.

Create an “Upcycled” eReader Cover

Monday, Nov 12 • 6:00–7:30 pm • Adults: Re–purpose printed material and paper, old clothing and an old book to fashion a fun and stylish protective sleeve for your favorite electronic device. Book art for the digital age. Light refreshments provided.

Adults: Experience a wilderness adventure with photographer Michael Witt as he shares his solo travels to the Arctic Ocean, Alaska and the western Canadian provinces. Enjoy the sights and sounds of extraordinary wildlife encounters, fabulous scenery and the beauty of the midnight sun. Light refreshments provided.
