Dyslexia Focus

Thursday, Jun 19 • 2:00–3:00 pm • Family: Parents and caregivers are invited to learn more about this common learning disability, including: early indicators, how to receive a diagnosis, and the rights of dyslexic children to reading intervention in Ohio. IMSLEC–certified in multisensory language instruction dyslexia tutor Erin Finan–DuBois will share her experiences as the mother of a dyslexic child, as well as the local resources.

Jeopardy Tournaments

Tuesday, Jul 8 • 6:00 pm: Grades 8–12 • Wednesday, Jul 9 • 2:00 pm: Grades 4–7 • Show off your smarts by competing to win a tournament in your age bracket at your branch. Winners from each branch will then be invited to compete at the system–wide championship. See page 5 for more details.
