General Information

St. Andrew’s College facilities and 126-acre campus offer an unforgettable summer camp experience for all children from ages 4 (entering JK) to 15. Under the guidance of dedicated staff, St. Andrew’s College Summer Camp provides an action-packed summer program for kids that promotes character, safety, and fun.

Our weekly programs offer unique summer experiences that encourage campers to be goal-oriented, build confidence in their abilities, and develop teamwork skills. The staff is ready to deliver the key ingredient to any summer — fun!

Each week, campers are placed in groups with children of similar ages. These groups are supervised under the watchful care of their counsellors for each session. Counsellors provide constant support and supervision as they lead the campers in their various activities. Coaching staff supervise each activity. When Registering

All information regarding your child helps ensure that we can provide a safe environment to result in the best possible experience for your camper. The more information you provide about your child, the better we can care for them in a way that meets specific individual needs.

If you would like to share information with us about your camper, please indicate it on the online registration form. This information will help your child adjust to camp and will only be shared with staff members who will benefit from knowing a little more about your child.

Once you have created an account or logged in, the information you provided will be saved and can be accessed at another time. Your camper’s spot in a program will not be saved until payment has been made. Please have your camper’s health card number available. This information will only be used in the case of an emergency. Please provide an email address that you often check to relay important information.

Our Facilities

St. Andrew’s College offers a wide variety of facilities. The 126-acre campus of beautifully landscaped grounds includes the La Brier Family Arena (including an NHL-sized ice surface), the Yuill Family Athletic Complex (with a state-ofthe-art baseball diamond, a turf field, and batting cages), the Munro Family Tennis Courts (with six courts), two double gymnasiums, six international squash courts, a six-lane outdoor rubber track, and the 25-metre Walden Pool. There is also a rock-climbing wall and a high ropes course. Cole Dining Hall offers a variety of meals provided by SAC’s Food Services Department. The Centre of Leadership, Innovation & Performance includes Wirth Theatre and technologyenhanced classrooms used for Summer Camp Specialties. The Wirth Art Centre offers dedicated painting, ceramics, and pottery studios. Lunch

Lunches and snacks are included in the weekly camp fee. Campers will receive both a morning and an afternoon snack. For lunch, campers may choose from a variety of nutritious items served in St. Andrew’s College’s airconditioned Cole Dining Hall. Please contact the Camp Office to discuss medically prescribed dietary restrictions and needs. For the safety of campers with allergies, we

ask parents not to send any food items to camp.

A.M. & P.M. Care

Campers can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and/or picked up as late as 5:15 p.m. for an extra fee. Enrolment in this program can be made anytime before your child’s first morning at camp. This program is fully supervised by our trained camp counsellors, who offer activities designed to keep campers busy until camp starts or their parents pick them up. We can provide daily or weekly care (see fee schedule for details). Friday Programming

Campers in Multi-Sport and some Specialties will enjoy fullday activities in collaboration with other programs. Favourites include SAC Olympics, Rock ’n’ Roll, The Amazing Race, and many more. Campers will remain in their groups when completing the themed events throughout the day. Recreational Swim

A 30-minute recreational swim will be a part of the MultiSport rotation for Junior and Senior campers. Campers get to cool off a few times a week in the 25-metre indoor Walden Pool under the careful supervision of our NLS-certified lifeguards. Campers have a selection of floatation devices and are joined by their counsellors in the pool. Campers interested in swimming in the deep end must be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance (supervised by a lifeguard). Successful campers will receive a “deepend bracelet” that must be worn for the week. Lost bracelets can be replaced with a re-test. If your child requires a life jacket, please email the Camp Office. Kinderstars and One-der Kids campers participate in water play instead of swimming in the pool.
