NASHVILLE YARDS

SSR has been engaged to provide MEP, technology, sustainability, and commissioning services for the Nashville Yards Entertainment District – a 4-acre segment that will include an approximately 300 room boutique hotel, 4,000-capacity music venue, and a mixed use entertainment building including a theater complex, a variety of other entertainment and food and beverage offerings. The project is currently in

Once completed, Nashville Yards, a 17-acre, $1 billion urban development project located in the heart of downtown Nashville, TN will feature more than three million SF of office space, 1,000 residential units, 1,100 hotel rooms, 400,000 SF of retail and entertainment space, and lots of public green space and walkways.

Gulch Crossing is a 242,000 SF mixed-use facility located in a thriving urban area of Nashville. The project makes smart use of its urban site, locating a five-level parking garage underneath the building. This eightstory building consists of office space, retail, restaurants, and other businesses often found in a mixeduse development. Building access is provided through elevator lobbies in the parking garage, as well as street-level main entrances for pedestrians. The facility is designed to promote living, working, shopping, and dining within a single walkable community.

GULCH CROSSING

The Corporate Centre campus is composed of six multi-tenant buildings, for a total of over 900,00 SF of existing Class A office space. With the original goal of LEED Certified status, the campus has achieved LEED Gold® certification, making it the largest multi-tenant LEED for Existing Buildings project in the state of Tennessee at the time of certification. SSR provided LEED facilitation, LEED feasibility study, retro-commissioning, and energy audit services for this facility.

DPR NASHVILLE OFFICE

NASHVILLE, TN DPR Construction knew that they wanted their new Nashville office to create a space that would set them apart from the competition, showcase the range of their capabilities, and their employees would enjoy working in. Converting an existing commercial warehouse building into a 7,500 SF open office, DPR realized they had an opportunity to set lofty goals — WELL Building Platinum and LEED® certification for their new space. From the beginning, they relied on an engaged project team to see these goals to fruition. SSR was brought on to serve as the MEP design engineer and sustainability consultant for the project.

The new facility features an expansive, flexible work space with glass-walled private offices to facilitate communication and collaboration among colleagues. Currently housed in the second, floor the layout focused on bringing in natural light and creating inviting spaces where people could work together. SSR provided civil and structural services for the project.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS

SSR was contracted by American Airlines for consulting services to assess the existing security platforms, research and evaluate system manufacturers, and develop a plan for the implementation of an enterprise system. The scope of work consists of deploying a new access control system for many of American Airlines domestic facilities.

RYMAN AUDITORIUM

The original home of the Grand Ole Opry was constructed in 1892. SSR completed a renovation project back in 1994 which included a new HVAC system and electrical upgrades along with modern lighting, sound, and staging equipment. Recently, SSR provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology services for the $14 million Ryman expansion project. The new expansion included improvements to the Ryman Auditorium experience for both tour guests and concert attendees and included an event space featuring a new, state-of-the-art daytime tour attraction, that provides a unique way to relive the Ryman Auditorium’s storied past. Other amenities include a dedicated café space, enhanced food and beverage services throughout the building, and an expanded retail area with interior and exterior access. Renovation plans also included a new box office, additional restroom facilities, and larger lobbies. Systems include structured cabling, video surveillance, and CATV.

NASHVILLE, TN

Uber’s new consolidated campus consists of four office buildings totaling over one million SF of space. Two of the towers, Mission Bay 3+4, are located on the Chase Center campus. Initially part of the development for the new Golden State Warriors home, SSR was already engaged in the project, having provided MEP and sustainability services for the arena and for the core and shell of Mission Bay 3+4. When Uber was announced as the sole tenant for the office towers, SSR’s sustainability group remained involved for the build out, providing sustainability consulting, enhanced commissioning, and monitoringbased commissioning services.

Every floor has a different layout, some with terrace balconies, cafeterias, lively and quiet zones, a gym, and other amenities for occupant comfort. Placing equal emphasis on occupant well-being as building performance, each Uber tower is pursuing LEED Gold® and WELL Gold certifications. SSR, as sustainability consultant, is closely coordinating with the design and construction team for Mission Bay 1+2 as necessary related to WELL certification. The office towers were occupied in 2020. SAN FRANCISCO, CA

As part of our commissioning efforts on this project, SSR was on-site to assist with identifying possible coordination and layout concerns and any impacts the design would have on the future maintainability of the mechanical systems within the building.

campus including facilities dedicated to healthcare, life sciences, and technology. The nearly 20acre campus is located near the center of Nashville’s urban core, less than two miles from Nashville’s major hospitals.
