Cross country is a rain or shine sport, and there was no shine to speak of at the North Coast Section Championships on Nov. 17 at Hayward High School. Over 10 championship races, competitors admirably endured the rain and mud with the hopes of qualifying for the California Interscholastic Federation State Championships on Nov. 24.
