How to make a Referral with “Just Refer”

One of the most common questions we receive is about login details. It's simple: your login ID is your JM 19... number, and the password is the same one you use for your JM email and other JM services.

Legal & General Critical Illness Product Update

& Launch Webinars

As part of Legal & General's on-going commitment to deliver great value and good customer outcomes for advisers and their clients, improvements have been made to their critical illness offering. These updates include: extended cancer cover broadened several definitions added new protection for skin cancer, severe mental illness and more increased full payments and additional payments extended the age up to which kids are now covered These changes have been driven by customer, adviser and competitor analysis, alongside a comprehensive review of incidence rates to identify illness trends; helping to ensure future customers are better protected.

Legal & General have worked with CI Expert to ensure the changes improve the quality of Critical Illness Extra and Children’s Critical Illness Extra policies sold via the intermediary channel. These changes will enable greater differentiation between the core Critical Illness Cover and upgraded Critical Illness Extra plans.

Change to registration process for Bluedrop

Bluedrop are your referral specialist General Insurance Provider for residential and Commercial Landlords, Business Insurance and Employers and Public Liability Insurance.

When referring business to Bluedrop you are now required to register individually. This will take just a couple of minutes and will allow you to then make the referral and receive payment. When you are prompted to enter bank details, provide:

Sortcode: 11-11-11

Account: 11111111

HSBC Change their lending into Retirement Policy

With effect from Wednesday 1st May, HSBC have made the following amendment to their Lending into Retirement policy:

Applicants who are more than 10 years from age 70 or their anticipated retirement age (whichever is sooner)

We now require confirmation of pension provisions to be provided for these customers, therefore when submitting a case, please include one of the following documents:

· the latest payslip evidencing pension contributions

· the most recent pension statement

· confirmation of pension scheme participation; or

· the latest bank statement showing pension payments.

HSBC’s Broker website and Broker Platform will be updated to reflect the above change.

Please note, when submitting a case you will need to upload the evidence of pension provisions with the application. Once the system has been aligned with these changes, it will automatically ask for these document(s). F i li f h i i i d
