Many consider our residence halls the best in the Midwest. Living on campus is an integral part of the college experience. Students who live in one of Southeast’s 13 residence halls eat their meals in one of eight dining areas, study in the lounges or computer labs, and sleep–when there’s time!

Another residence hall opened in 2013 to support unprecedented growth in enrollment.

Southeast’s residence halls come in many different styles including community-style, suite-style, group living and apartments. Students share a double room with a roommate, giving you opportunities to meet other students and get to know the campus. Each floor or wing is staffed with a resident assistant who can connect you to University resources. You have many choices about where you will live. Your room has furniture, but you make it your own with posters, pictures, etc. Each room has 24-hour Internet access and cable TV. Dining on campus isn’t just grabbing fast food and running–it can be a culinary experience! Students living in the residence halls can choose from dining areas open from early morning to midnight. There’s always someplace to pick up a bagel, salad or pizza, or it can be an opportunity to enjoy a meal with friends and have a lively discussion about today’s psychology lecture.
