As a university president, I’m fortunate to work side by side with stellar faculty who readily acknowledge that wisdom comes from innovative thinking, which leads to innovative action. To be innovative, we must, by definition, try new things. When we try anything new, we risk failure‌but we must not allow that to deter us: failure can advance us toward our goals.
