Thanksgiving – A Time for an Attitude of Gratitude Over the years I have realized that one of the secrets to success and happiness is gratitude. And I also know it’s not always easy to be grateful. Life happens, and sometimes we are knocked flat by situations completely beyond our control. Tragic world events, outbreaks of dangerous viruses, economic upheavals and uncertainties, and crises and frustrations that affect us on a personal level can make any of us feel down and, at times, full of despair.
Right now, while it is fresh in your mind, I want you to make a list of at least 10 things for which you are grateful. Next, I want you to pledge to adopt an “attitude of gratitude” every day this month. Trust me, I’m going to be doing it too since I’m not immune to feeling overwhelmed at times.
