The holidays is my favorite time of the year, I believe this might be so because I am very nostalgic about my own childhood memories of my mother preparing our home for the holidays with new furniture, freshly painted walls, holiday cakes and pastries, the smell of turkey and hams baking and a constant flow of friends and families visiting and merriment. I absolutely loved it!!!!! Today, I try to recreate some of this in my own home but it seems so much more stressful and costly in these times.
