Brief

Concept

The brief was to create an identity and promotional material for a Ska based music exhibition at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts. The aim was to educate people of the unique genre of music and how it originated and also celebrate the music for fans.

The concept is typographically baed and simply represents the musical nature of the exhibition. The logo is large and in your face in order to intrigue the audinece and uses a pun of the word Ska, Skarred for Life. A colour palette of black, white and shade of grey is consistent to keep the 2tone style of music of importance. Sophie Herring Brief 2 1 of 5

The format of the guide is thin and landscape to take the form of a piano to emphasise the musical importance of the exhibition.
