The Missionary Band, under the leadership of W esley Harmon , president, has had a very successful year . From chapel programs to meetings in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma we have been kept busy. Our band, consisting of one hundred and thi rty members from the freshman through the sen ior classes, feels the deep urgency of preparing for the work to w hich God has called us.
We all appreciated her ministry.
Our main project of the year was raising better than six thousand dollars for the Koreans. The establishment of an exhibit room on the campus for th ings from mission fields was alsq started . The meeting s across the districts were for the purpose of acqua inting the people of our church with our program . Sunday School classes were held in the hospitals of Okl a homa City by members of our group . Chapel programs were given to allow other students on our campu s to see some of our work. We held o ur weekly prayer meetings on Thursd a y eve r.ing s. God came in to bless. us many times, making His presence felt very near. We had one hundred and twent y-three called missionaries on our campus this year. Many you ng people, called to other fields of endeavor, un ited with us in our meetings. Dr. Philo has been our very capable faculty ad viser this year while Adeline Preuss, vice-president, and Mary Miller, secretary and treasurer, have done commendable work.
