The program provides an intensive study of music, a broad and integrated background in the liberal arts, and the skills, knowledge and experience to help elementary, middle, and high school students develop to their full potential. Music education majors practice traditional and innovative research-based approaches to teaching music through a six semester series of weekly internships in the local public schools, and a full immersion semester of student teaching.
