“I just got myself as ready as I could, surfed as much as possible before I went, which seems like the logical thing to do,” she says. The preparation paid off in spades and Alyson got to make the most of the early season Maldives waves. Now she’s keen to get back as soon as her busy schedule allows. “Absolutely,” she says. “Get involved. Do it.
