An Appetizing Tainan Style Noodle Recipe Have you ever tried Tainan style noodles at home? If you have not tried a Tainan style noodle recipe yet at your home, you must try it! If you talk about Tainan style noodles, they were originally enjoyed by the people of Tainan - a beautiful place in Taiwan. These noodles have been enjoyed by the people of Taiwan particularly Tainan for more than 130-years now. However, with the passage of time, this recipe has become popular among people all over the world. In other words, today Tainan style noodles are loved by people of all age groups in all most every country in the world. Here’re all the important ingredients that you need to prepare this dish, which can be served to six people. You can use Tainan noodles offered by A- Sha Dry Noodle to prepare this dish.


Ingredients 300g Tainan Noodles ( You can use any flavor) 1 kg Shrimp ( make sure it includes shells and heads) 1 cup prawns 1 cup minced pork 2 tsp lard 4 finely chopped shallots 2 cups sprouts 5 to 6 sprigs cilantro 2 cloves finely chopped garlic 1 finely chopped spring onion 2 tbsp dark soy sauce Fish sauce

Cooking instructions: 1. The first step that you have to take while preparing Tainan style noodles is to grill your shrimp. 2. After you are done thoroughly cooking your shrimp, you can then keep add them to a soup pot. 3. Add 10 cups of water to the soup pot and boil it. Once you observe that the soup has started boiling you can then allow it to simmer on low heat. Make sure that you cover the soup pot partially and allow it to simmer for around 45-minutes. 4. After that add prawns in the soup pot and then keep them aside. 5. The next thing that you have to do is take a pot and strain the broth from it. 6. After that season the broth with fish sauce. 7. Take a wok and add pork lard in it. After adding lard in the wok, you then have to add pork mince in it. Make sure that you keep cooking the pork until it becomes brown. 8. Add chopped garlic and shallots in the wok. Before you add garlic and shallots in the work, you need to make space for them in the center by pushing pork on the sides. Allow garlic and shallots to become brown and then mix them effectively with the pork. Cook the whole thing for nearly 5 to 6 minutes.


9. The next step is to add soy sauce in the wok and then add around 10 cups of water to it. Bring it to boil. After that allow it to simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat. Simmer it until the sauce starts thickening. 10. Meanwhile, you have to blanch the sprouts by soaking them in a pot of boiling water. Once your sprouts are blanched, keep them aside. 11. Next, you have to cook Tainan noodles. Make sure that you cook them according to packet instructions. 12. Take the serving bowls and place noodles in them. You also have to put sprouts, spring onions, and cilantro in the serving bowls. 13. In the end, you need to add soup in the bowls. In addition to that, you also have to add minced pork sauce to the bowls. Before you serve the dish to your guests, add prawns to it. It’s extremely simple to prepare this dish at home!
