SMASHED is an unfilmed, alternative sitcom set in a Brisbane suburb where people call their dogs Chopper, and pedestrians are target practice for angry drivers. It follows the lives of Megan, an emotionally unstable boozehound, and Chris, her angry idealist boyfriend. Season one begins a few months after Chris has moved to the suburbs to live with Megan and her senile mother, Val. In this season Chris runs for political office then bounces between jobs, while Megan has money problems, falls afoul of the law and deals with the declining health and sanity of her mum. The pair battle bogans, mock a moot court, lock horns with motivational speakers, confuse psychologists and even delve into an ill-fated animal rights campaign. Contact peach.tristan@gmail.com
