SHARED LUTHERAN

YOUTH MINISTRY “ D o n ’ t l e t anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the b e l i e v e r s i n s p e e c h , i n conduct, in love, in faith and in p u r i t y ” ( 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV). Young p e o p l e a r e q u i t e o F e n stereotyped as being disengaged, disrespecGul, and irresponsible. Working with you all at SLYM shows me that there are many more young people who express posiMve values and make our churches, schools, and community a be2er place. I would like to share one such example. Youth from Bethel Lutheran Church, First Lutheran Church, G.A. Family Services, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and Immanuel Lutheran Church are coming together to collect food and raise awareness of hunger relief efforts right here in Jamestown.
